ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

 

Indian cinema has occupied a distinctive place in the cultural imagination of Central Asia. From the circulation of Hindi films during the Soviet period to contemporary digital platforms, cinema has helped shape public perceptions of India, encouraged linguistic and artistic exchange, and created enduring emotional connections across borders. The conference examines this shared history while opening new interdisciplinary conversations on cinema, identity, diplomacy, translation, media and cultural memory.

·Abstract and paper may be submitted in Hindi or English.

·The abstract should clearly state the title, research objective, method/approach and key argument, along with the author's name, designation, institution, email and mobile number.

·The paper must be original and must follow accepted academic citation and referencing practices.

·The organizing committee may request revision, clarification or supporting information during review.
