Executive Summary. During 2023-2026, the College developed a multi-layered national academic network through jointly organised programmes, sponsored seminars, curriculum development, Boards of Studies, research evaluation, faculty exchange, translation and official-language training, and digital content creation for SWAYAM.
1. Introduction
During 2023-2026, K. M. Agrawal College of Arts, Commerce & Science, Kalyan (West), strengthened its national academic network through conferences, seminars, workshops, curriculum development, research evaluation, expert exchange and digital learning initiatives. The Department of Hindi played a prominent role in building linkages with government agencies, national research bodies, universities, autonomous colleges, literary academies and public-sector organisations.
The collaborations included the following major forms of engagement:
Joint organisation of national and state-level academic programmes
Government-sponsored seminars, workshops and academic discussions
Curriculum development and participation in Boards of Studies
Exchange of subject experts, keynote speakers and resource persons
Research guidance, proposal evaluation and academic mentoring
Translation, official-language and multilingual capacity building

2. Major Institution-Led Collaborative Programmes
2.1 National Seminar on Ramdarash Mishra
14 August 2023 | Maharashtra State Hindi Sahitya Akademi
The College organised a one-day national seminar in collaboration with the Maharashtra State Hindi Sahitya Akademi on the theme "Ramdarash Mishra: Life and Literature."
The seminar brought together scholars, teachers, researchers and students to discuss the literary contribution of the eminent Hindi writer. It promoted critical engagement with modern Hindi literature and strengthened the College's academic relationship with the Akademi.
2.2 State-Level Workshop on Hindi-Marathi Translation

A one-day state-level workshop on "Hindi-Marathi Translation: Bridge, Dialogue and Sensibility" was jointly organised by the Maharashtra State Hindi Sahitya Akademi and K. M. Agrawal College.
The workshop addressed literary translation, cultural exchange, linguistic sensitivity and practical translation challenges. It promoted multilingualism and strengthened literary interaction between Hindi and Marathi.
2.3 ICSSR-Sponsored National Seminar on Amarkant
16-17 January 2026 | ICSSR, New Delhi and Maharashtra State Hindi Sahitya Akademi, Mumbai
The College organised a two-day national seminar on "Lower-Middle-Class Indian Society and the Literature of Amarkant." The programme was sponsored by the Indian Council of Social Science Research, New Delhi, and the Maharashtra State Hindi Sahitya Akademi, Mumbai.
The seminar examined social inequality, economic struggle, human relationships, changing values and the representation of lower-middle-class life in Amarkant's literature. It encouraged interdisciplinary interaction among literary scholars, social-science researchers, teachers and research students.

4. Major Areas of Collaboration
A. Literary and Cultural Collaboration
Seminars on Ramdarash Mishra, Amarkant, Bhakti-era saint literature and contemporary Hindi provided national platforms for scholarly discussion on literature, culture and society.
B. Translation and Multilingualism
The Hindi-Marathi translation workshop and the official-language programme at Bharat Electronics Limited addressed literary, cultural, administrative and professional dimensions of translation.
C. Curriculum Development and Academic Governance
Participation in Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University's Programme Advisory Committee and the Boards of Studies of St. Aloysius' College and Wilson College enabled contributions to NEP-aligned curriculum design and evaluation.
D. Research and Evaluation
Research-methodology engagement and research-proposal evaluation at SNDT Women's University supported proposal development, academic mentoring and quality enhancement.
E. Digital Education and MOOCs
Collaboration with EMMRC, Savitribai Phule Pune University, produced five lectures for the SWAYAM-oriented MOOC on Post-Chhayavad Hindi Poetry.
F. Indian Knowledge Systems and Environmental Studies
Conference participation on Indian knowledge traditions, environmental thought and human values promoted interdisciplinary dialogue between literature, culture, ethics and environmental studies.
5. Outcomes and Institutional Impact
Expansion of the national academic network. The College developed active academic linkages with universities, autonomous colleges, government institutions, literary academies and public-sector organisations across several Indian states.
Government and national-body participation. Collaboration with ICSSR and the Maharashtra State Hindi Sahitya Akademi enhanced the credibility and national relevance of the College's academic programmes.
Contribution to curriculum reform. Participation in advisory committees and Boards of Studies supported NEP-aligned curriculum design, evaluation and outcome-oriented teaching.
Promotion of research culture. Seminars, research-methodology sessions and research-proposal evaluation strengthened critical inquiry, academic writing and postgraduate research.
Strengthening of multilingual competence. The Hindi-Marathi translation workshop promoted linguistic sensitivity, comparative language study and intercultural communication.
Digital dissemination of knowledge. Five expert lectures prepared for a SWAYAM-oriented MOOC extended the College's academic contribution beyond the physical campus.
Industry-academia engagement. The official-language workshop at Bharat Electronics Limited demonstrated the professional application of Hindi and translation in public-sector administration.
Enhanced institutional visibility. Invitations to faculty as keynote speakers, resource persons, external experts and Board of Studies members reflected external recognition of the College's academic expertise.
Promotion of Indian Knowledge Systems. Programmes on Indian knowledge traditions, environmental values and Bhakti literature connected traditional knowledge with contemporary educational and social concerns.
Foundation for long-term partnerships. These linkages created opportunities for future MoUs, faculty exchanges, joint publications, student activities, sponsored research and collaborative digital courses.
6. Conclusion
The period 2023-2026 marked a significant expansion of the national academic presence of K. M. Agrawal College. Through jointly organised programmes, sponsored seminars, curriculum-development initiatives, research evaluation, faculty exchange, translation workshops and digital-content production, the College developed meaningful academic relationships with reputed institutions across India.
These initiatives demonstrate the College's commitment to academic excellence, multilingual education, research, innovation, Indian Knowledge Systems and socially relevant higher education. They also provide a strong foundation for converting activity-based associations into sustained institutional partnerships.

Individual invitations, expert lectures and Board of Studies appointments should be presented as faculty-mediated institutional linkages unless they are supported by a formal MoU or institutional agreement.
